Rakugo has become a dead art form thanks to generations of dull-witted Rakugoka（comic storytellers).

The stories they narrate are supposed to be hilariously funny but they are not.

Now Rakugo has become a collection of old stories which are not even entertaining.

Compared to what U.S. standup comedians can do, Rakugoka fail miserably.
