 中山 義雄氏の選曲、構成、解説による戦前ブルーズの選曲集。全98曲のそれは、全てとは言わないまでも、戦前ブルーズのおおよその形というものが、理解できるものとなっています。基本的に一人につき一曲なので、食い足りない感は否めませんか、しかしこれらをばらばらで揃えるとなると、そうとうな出費がかかるでしょう。そういう意味では妥当な価格なのかな。ポール・オリヴァーの『ブルースの歴史』を読みながら聴くと、楽しいかもしれません。ちなみに中山氏は、ニフティーのそれ系の会議室に、よく顔を出してます。
