SANROKU ATELIER ( works of wrought iron )

.

When you water the garden, the hose sometimes pushes down a flower pot or hurts a flower bed.
This can be avoided if work is done with the hose put on this stick.
It can be used separately as an ornament or you can make it a garden fence by connecting it with chain or rope. It is good for hanging labels on which plant names are written.

SANROKU ATELIER
bird motifs

Ms. Morikiyo set up the studio "SANROKU ATELIER" at the foot of Yatsugatake mountain.
She continues her creative activity surrounded by deep green. Her production process begins with heating iron and is done by manual operation in this studio.
So, the charm of her work is its definite existence with the feeling of the natural powerfulness and smoothness of wrought iron.
Here we introduce a bird motif which has had especially high popularity.
The birds are the motifs which can be said to be the symbol of the "SANROKU ATELIER" work.
Each is clipped from an iron plate and hammered out by hand.
It seems that a life really resides in the bird - in keeping with the words of Ms. Morikiyo, "Wrought iron is given a life by hammering and firing it".
It seems more alive when placed in the midst greenery.

A garden fence shows the borderline between the approach and a flower bed without breaking the natural atmosphere of the garden.
