Flow Distributor Removal

The Flow Distributor(Followings, FD) would be removed by taking out high pressure oil lines ( top 2 hoses & bottom 3 hoses) as well as 2 bolts of F.D.mount. Due to the bottom 3 hoses are located just above the main accumulateur. You can approach from both top & bottom side if you take it off.

Also you are able to access from bonnet side only if you remove a radiator.

Actual Work
  1. Jacking up vehicle (front) and put stands.

  2. Clean up FD surroundings. Set height lever at Lowest position.
  3. Loosen Bleed-screw at pressure regulator, and take out Main accumulateur.

  4. Remove each cramps for the tubes which connects on the FD.
Bolt / right-side of FD body(10mm)

Bolt & nut / in front of pressure regulator(10mm)

Clamps for metal-pipings underneath of engine & transmission

  1. Remove joint parts which connects 5 tubes into FD.
    After unfasten 2 upper bolts, let tubes remain (not take them off.)
    It is better to take the pipe left-side of body, since it is
    "J"shape-pipe & connects on the pressure regulator.

  2. Take off 3 tubes under the FD.The photo shows the view looking up from bottom, after remove Main accumulateur.


  3. Remove 2 bolts(11mm), which fixed FD.
    Shake the FD body and push toward bottom, upper 2 tubes are also pull out. Then, take out FD body.

  4. Put in new/fixed FD in reverse order.
    Use New Oil Seal for joint parts.

  5. Set Main accumulateur and tighten a bleed screw.
    Start engine, check the oil leaking & power steering motion.
