I went to the Kabuki-za Theater to see the Kabuki performance of October. I really enjoyed!

07.04.04　What is the Carbon Footprint?
Recently, environmental issues such as global warming, air pollution, climate change, and so on have became a serious problem around the world. I think we all have to care about the environment. I watched the movie 'An Inconvenient truth' by Al Gore in Feb. I was highly-shocked by the fact that the Earth's condition was getting worse rapidly.
Carbon Footprint seems like to be popular in England. It's interesting! We also can somethig to do for the Earth!

I left the company I worked for nine years today! And I'm going to work for a environmental consultant company maybe.

By the way, the cherry blossoms are really beautiful now. The sakuras are in full bloom around here, I'm thinking to invite my father to our cherry-blossom viewing party tomorrow. Because I think it's important to show filial devotion to Father sometimes.

I'm learning the way of wearing kimono at Aoyama. I have had new friends in the class and it goes well at this time. Actually, I have only had three lessons, in the last lesson I learned tying Obi for yukata or for casual.

Having said that, kimono lesson is stressing me out a little.. After class I feel emotionally exhausted and then I go to a coffee shop or something like that with friends and chatting for a while. That's great time!

well, I've been a little bit overweight sice this Oshogatsu, but I don't like that. So I'm going to reduce my fat! I ran 5 kilometers for 30 minutes at LHC. I spent about 250Kcal by that.

And then, I was shocked to find a folded leaflet with newspaper yesterday. There is a tittle "whale fare" in large letters that is a advertisment paper of a izakaya-resuaurant. "Japanese have eaten whale meet." was right. And it's even... it's very cheep! poor whales, sorry for whales.IWC

Tomorrow 1Feb. is the day of private junior high entrance exam. Some of my friends children will try it. I think the exam is really hard for 12-year-old boys and girls. Also my children had this exrerience before.
After that, high school entrance exam will start next week.
Anyway, I don't have to worry about this time! hee-hee.

I am going to enter a KIMONO-school to learn the way of wearing KIMONO from February.
Today, I went to the gym and enjoyed aerobic dance.

06.12.12　A month has passed..
Time has passed very quickly, and it's been almost a month since we moved here.
This was my first time to plant race-lavendar in the garden. The scent of lavendar is so good, and give a calming effect on me.

06.10.28　Tokyo Apache
　I saw an event of Tokyo Apache which is one of Pro Basketball team. They look very tall!! and cool!! I talked with Jun Nakanishi and Taketo Aoki after event. I like them very much. I hope they can win the game begins on 4th November.

　Mr.Oe gave us a lecture at my daughter's school.
I thought that all participants were impressed.

06.10.08　feels so good!
　It was the first time to ride my bike after getting the license. I went to the hair salon in jiyugaoka. Using bike is so useful and feels so good.

06.10.04　I got it!
　I got a new license for motorbike limited less or equal 125cc.
And I tried my first "blood donation" at Samezu.

06.10.02　the exam
　I took motorbike graduation exam at the driving school on Monday. It was a rainy day, and it was the first time for me to ride on wet course. I was worried about my riding because I didn't know whether I would't go well or not.
I made a small mistake, it was not much,so I almost went well.But there was a narrow bridge which is called "The Ipponbashi". I failed there, I dropped at the last 30cm. That was a shame,I was very close!

06.10.01 I'm learning to ride!
　I started new challenge that I entered the driving school to get a license for motorbike. It's still so hard to control it for me. But it might be the last lesson today if it would be better...

　I decided to enter the driving school. The new thing starts is stimulating for me.

06.09.18　The Setagaya Art Museum
　My children and I went to the Setagaya Art Museum in Kinuta park. It was a very nice day, crisp air of autumn. It felt so good to walk, I haven't been there with my children for a lomg time.
　For my children, having tea and cake in the restaurant which is in the park was more enjoyable,maybe.

06.09.14　where do you put your umbrella?
　My son asked me, "Do you know where to put the umbrella in cafes?" Then, I made a noise in frustration as I failed to stand my umbrella on the table. Then, my son showed me how to balance the umbrella on the table by sliding the umbrella tip under the table, and allowing the handle to rest on the table. I was very impressed by his good idea

　Just running half an hour reduce my stress.
　I went to the LHC with my husband by red car.
It felt so good!

06.08.12　vacation!
　I'm going to Nagano with my family today!
But I'm worrying about trafic jam because it's the peak of Obon has just begun. How long will it take?

06.08.05　free time!
　It's the first time to be able to spend time for my own! My husband is in HK, and my son goes to Shibuya for taking summer courses, my daughter goes to the Tokyo Disneyland with her friends.
What a precious time! What am I going to do?

As a result, I enjoyed shopping on web...( as usual?)
Then I went to the gym, enjoyed running for about 30 minutes. I ran at the speed of 10Km/h, distance of 5Km. I worked up a good sweat by that.

06.07.27 Museum 1999
　We went out to the french resutaurant in Shibuya. My husband made a reservation at fancy restaurant for me. But actualy he was still thinking which restaurant would be nice untill 5pm. I geve up having special dinner, and went out for walking with Mick to Tama-river. When I came back to my house and I found an e-mail from my husband that took seats for dinner at 7pm in Shibya. Then It was 6:30 pm!!
I headed to Shibuya with my son so that we could get there in time for the dinner.
　The dinner was very good I thought...taste was not too rich, the atmosphere of there was fantastic and they had good wine lists.

06.07.09 fault!
　The following pictures are what I took at Hatsukari Service Area on The Chuo Expressway.
　Why did I go there? The reason came from is that my daughter and I overslept this morning and missed a meeting for a school camp!!
　The meeting time was at 8:30 am but we woke up at 8:30 am!! (What should we do??)
　We made a call to the emergency contact number. A teacher said "Please manage try to catch up with us at Dangouzaka SA!"
　We had were 40 minutes behind when we left. I didn't know whether it would be possible to get there in time. We rushed anyway.
　However We made tried to make contact with the year-head teacher from by mobile phone before getting to Dangouza SA, however it was not able possible to get through to her. So we gave up to meet and passed there.
　We found by calling from the teacher that we passed their bus while they were still taking break at Dangouzaka by calling from the teacher. Finally my daughter got around to marge joinnig with her lots of friends at the next SA at Hatsukari. All of the girls who waved their hands were really delighted and excited! Thank you all!

It was the first time to stop in the Hatsukari SA.

06.07.05　Shiratama-dango

　I enjoyed making and eating Shiratama-dango with Christina in my place and having it!

・ mix water into Shiratamako as until ear lobe-like consistency.
・ roll it up into ball.
・ cook balls in boiling water for 2 or 3 minutes.
・2 or 3 minutes and when the balls float on the water, and they are done.
・Toppings are Kinako:Ground soybean and Kuromitsu:black sugar nectar.

06.06.15　Mick
I took Mick for a walk to Tamagawa gland grass land this morning. He was really enjoyeding himself and ran away into the distance. I became worried that if he didn't wouldn't come back. However he wisely came back to me as soon as I called him. How good boy!!

I visited my friend who moved to Yokohama in March. They got a new nice house and looked so happy. Having said that, they have to repay their housing loan for over 25 years.

06.05.10　Hyakunin Isshu
I tried to explain about Hyakunin Isshu. But I didn't know what to say!

Once again, we went to the marina. It was so windy! more than 10m/s! we didn't cast off the moorings due to poor weather conditions. But it was to be good thing was took because my mother-in-law there and we had lunch with us on the boat. She also was delighted.

I got up early in the morning, and cleaned livingroom and sweeped swept outside. After that, We were headed to the Marina again. We enjoyed drinking beer on the boat. It felt so good! Especially, my father spent time together. He was so delighted.

We went to the Marina in Yokohama for only having lunch! Although it's still a little cold, nice season has come.
After We came home, went to the gym for swimming.

It was bad weather today. The lightning flashed and made a sound so loudly! After that, we went for a walk at Tama river area in the evening. This white flowers are at its best and beautiful.

It has got muddy.

Unbelievable!! Why did goverment decide such important thing without debate in Congress?? A lot of Japanese must have same idea as me.
I heard that Japan have to spend about 3,000,000,000,000 yen!! Unacceptable!

　I went sopping to Yokohama with my daughter on Saturday. She got three black T-shirts for training Basketball. And also got new shoes! She was so delighted.
　After shopping, we took my son to go bowling.! We have not been there for three years.

　I went for walking to the Tama river with Mick. It's very good to meet a lot of friends through dogs after a long time . Because they are senior homemakers, have already known the way of solution about household worries, children's troubles and so on and they give me advice, information.

I went out to coin car wash place at 7 am this morning. because the car was so dirty for yellow sand. I can't stand it! some of people had the same idea, so it just was crowed.

06.04.23　Green up!!

Trees are growing up and green up in a very short time. This became more beautiful avenue of maidenhairs. Especially, I love it in the morning.

Above is Mick lies down on the sofa wearily.

06.04.21　The day of Hachiko
I heard it's the day of Hachiko today. I didn't know that, especially, Hchiko's cause of death was filarial.
I took Mick for rabies inoculation and immunization against filarial to an animal hospital near the station today.

I didn't know that we can see Tasmanian Devil easily at zoo in Tamania. I've ever imagined Tasmanian Devil is animal of legend. To our surprise, a lot of Tasmaian's animal have pouch like kangaroo. That's amazing!

Right picture is Platypus. Exactly like KODAKKU which is one of the Pocket Monster's character.

　I watched the movie 'TROY' on DVD want to see it for the whole.

It reminds me 'TheJudgement of Paris'in The National Gallery, London. It has very interesting story!!

06.04.13　The trees coming into leaf look so beautiful

The new leaves of maidenhair trees are sprouting as soon as cherry blossoms finished.
